Early Childhood Education

YES! The cutest division of Maayan is our wonderful ECE Learning Center.

Early childhood is a time of accelerated development and Maayan cultivates learning to the highest degree via a happy, loving, and warm environment.

Children experience first hand the joy of our Jewish world through music, play, imaginative play, sensory and social experiences.

Maayan focuses on:

1) Learning through thoughtful play

2) Learning how to be a friend and being a part of our social world

3) Learning to see how exciting it is to learn!

Come visit us in  ECE - just pop in for a few minutes, sit on the floor, read a book, or play with blocks and toys. The kids love visitors and you will love it to0.

Welcome to our ECE class! In our class we love getting messy, working on play skills and learning about the environment.  While singing Jewish songs, I love teaching the children about their Jewish heritage and giving them a foundation of positive Jewish experiences.

The joy for Mitzvot and holidays is contagious in our classroom. Our projects focus on developing fine and gross motor skills, using hands on materials, exploring our senses and communicating with peers. I especially enjoy doing hands on learning with the children and allowing them to explore new ideas.

My love for early childhood developed when I fostered  many children in my home and  home schooled them together with my children for 11 years.  This is one of my favorite ages to work with as they love  to learn and they yearn for connection with their teachers.  It is an honor to work with the youngest students at Maayan, and I hope to set them up for success in their future.
